DepEd to implement ROTC to schools nationwide     by: Francis Autor

 

Department of Education to administer Reserve Officers' Training Corps for both public/private schools nationwide. 

The said program will be proposed as a mandatory pcogram for senior high schools as for the House of the Representatives.

This program aims to prepare students for being Officer for the Active army, Army reserve or Army National Guard.

It also aids students in possessing such abilities and attitudes that can benefit them throughout their academic process.

Philippine Government upholds this mandatory program since it develops students capabilities With military skills and training.

DepEd clarified the incorporation of important lessons and values in the said curriculum. ROTC assures safety within the citizens of our country and respect for human and civil rights.
