Quezon National High School implements banana leaf as alternative eating container

To lessen garbage to the environment, the food stalls and canteens around Quezon National High School use banana leaf as alternative eating container to serve their meals.

According to Ma’am Inojosa , we need to remove the plastic plates and other plastic containers and replace them with banana leaf alternatives in order to keep the cleanliness to our campus.

Although some of the food stalls still use plastic utensils, students are required to return them once they are done eating.

“Kailangan nating panatilihin ang ating kapaligiran kaya isinagawa ang paggamit ng mga dahon ng saging bilang pinggan” says Ma’am Inojosa.

“Kailangan naming sundin ang ganitong patakaran bilang estudyante para na rin sa aming kapakanan” says one of the students around the campus.
