Pramis won the Chess Tournament     by: Francis Autor

 

Rod Vincent O. Pramis won as champion in the chess tournament at Quezon National High School(QNHS) library.

 

The said event was held last July 19 -20.

 

There are 16 students who played in the event.

 

Pramis checkmated John Mark Anareta(G9) in his first match.

 

“Kinabahan talaga ako sa laban dahil merong notation, nagchampion lang naman ako dahil nagtiwala akong mananalo ako at pinagisipan ko ang aking bawat tira.” Said Pramis.

 

The first placer is Allan O. Badillo (G9) while the second placer is Franz Wendell E. Rances(G7).

 

“Galingan mo lang sa laro, kailangan nasa laro yung buong atensyon mo.” said Badillo.

 

“Yung common na ginagawa ng players. Focus lang dapat sa laro” said Rances.

The awarding ceremony was held last July 21.
